While pop-up blockers can be very useful pieces of software, they can also cause no end of problems. Sometimes you actually want a pop-up, and the pop-up blocker will block it. What should you do in this situation?

Well, if you have a decent pop-up blocker, it shouldn’t be that much of a problem. The best ones can be configured to only block pop-ups that appeared without you clicking a link, while even the simplest will generally allow pop-ups through temporarily if you hold down the Alt or Ctrl key while you click.

When we think of adware, what comes to mind are those infuriating and pesky ads that pop up out of nowhere each time we are surfing the net. Anyone who has surfed through the net has encountered those irritating pop-up adwares advertising everything from computer software down to those little blue pills for erectile disfunction. Adwares are some of the most derided objects in the web alongside viruses, spyware and other malicious softwares and programs. Although adwares are alleged to be the most benign form of spyware, most web users hate the blatant and annoying way of advertising.
